Lets start with Hussein and his government. They support terrorist operations against the rest of the world. He has commited unspeakable atrocities inside his country. He has violated treaties. He has been given every opportunity diplomatically to evade the war that is now coming. Regardless of Bush, his politics, and the United Nations, I am for this for the Iraqi people no matter how it has come about. Some say we should have left well enough alone. My reply to that is when the brakes squeal on a car do not wait to fix it. If you wait then the pads will wear out and destroy the rotors and calipers. Replacing the brake pads is preventive maintenance. Hussein has been squealing loud and long enough to reach a deaf man. It is time to deal with him. If not he will follow Hitler's footsteps. |
