Personal Journal Of Father's Day Events 2003
Sunday, June 15, 2003, (Father's Day Picnic) - New Westminster BC
Greetings fellow comrades from the west coast and New Westminster BC. Today we had a wonderful
relaxing day in Moody park with fun for everyone, once more a complete success.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who turned out and lent a helping hand. At some point in the afternoon I counted about 40 heads including children. We had a great deal more children this year which was nice to see. Moody Park turned out to be a excellent location for this event. Around lunch
time a reporter, photographer from the Royal City Record in new Westminster turned out to photograph
our event and to get some further insight regarding our organizations. we should see these photos and
story in their next issue.
Many thanks again to all who attended which include: Hal Legere and children, Murray williams and son,
David millar, St. Jerry Wong, Allan Mcdougal, Edward, Manfred webber and children, Karen and Lorne
and their beautiful little girl, Steven, Brad springer, Steve Melady and children and squeeze (sorry can not
remember name), Jim Orourke and son, and evryone else who was their who I am unable to remember.
I would also like to say a special thank you to Murray Williams who worked so diligently to make our
weekend a success, as well as our President Hal Legere for his ability to efficiently resolve any shortages
we encountered. BRAVO.
Special thanks as well to Darrel Trociuk for coming out and sharing his recent Supreme Court of Canada
victory with his fellow comrades. I salute you my friend, let's kick some Vital Stats Agency Ass! Their
days are numbered, 365 days to be exact. Hal I would like a copy of the photo  that was taken from your
camrera of you, Darrel and I. One day perhaps if ever my daughter and I are reunited I would like to show
her that picture and explain to her that it is because of the actions of Darrel Trociuk she has been given
the opportunity to one day know who her real daddy is. Of course when she is old enough to understand
such things. I know in my heart that when and if that time ever comes my daughter being able to see this
gentlemen with her daddy and another wonderful advocate of children's rights will leave my daughter with
the reality that her daddy never stopped fighting for her. A picture I am sure that my child may one day
cherish, a part of Canadian History.
There were many events for everyone to get involved with and alll in all a complete and total success. well
done everyone and I wish you all the happiest of Father's Days and God Bless.

  Sincerely: Robert robinson
