Ground Zero Continues
Monday, August 26/02, Day # 19 (In the trenches) :  Greetings  everyone, found myself this morning at David Millars ongoing trial. It has gotten so I can't tell one court from another. Injustice knows no bounds. was nice to see Manfred Webber in attendance also. David was absolutely brilliant, bravo for you David. David certainly did us fathers proud today. His ability to strike deep into the heart of our corrupt legal system, while under constant attack by the same corrupt system, was inspiring. This is not to say any headway was made as it is overly obvious that the fix is in. None  the less David articulately portrayed our Kangaroo Courts for what they truly are, " A complete and total mockery of justice at its finest. Here, Here.
Oh yeah, should anyone see me in the news, with some high profile trial. I was not involved. I was merely leaving the court room David was in, which happened to be next door to this other trial. Anyway my timing was impeccable, as I was leaving so were they, me in front, noting three tv cameras filming as I came down the stairs and exited the building, filmed the whole time. "Any publicity is good publicity". Was wearing my Father's for justice t-shirt.
Tuesday, August 27/02,Day # 20 : Greetings everyone, today was a more colorful morning out front of Kangaroo court. The majority were criminal cases, I think. Anyhow at one point in my time there a small group of adolescent boys (5), approached me and asked why I was here. I briefly informed them that I have now not seen my child since July 2001. One of the youths then said that there was no way he was ever going to get married or have children. I asked why? He informed me that his older brother had just lost his home, children, and all that he has ever worked for,in divorce. The rest of the youths agreed and were in complete support of this view. Wow.
Lots of looks and friendly faces today as well. The woman who brings the food for those within said hi, informing me that in September there is to be many news cameras at the court for some high profile trials. She is a friendly soul and is always very polite.
Several criminals exited the premises cheering as though they had won a contest, free to terrorize again. My take on it is that's because there are probably an abundance of dads to occupy those jail cells.
To end this on a terrific note, an elderly Grandmother strolled by, asked me of my plight, eagerly excepted our literature, proclaimed she would give up everything to see me with my daughter again. She even cried for me, a total stranger. God bless souls such as this.
Wednesday, August 28/02, Day # 21 : Greetings everyone. Another stifling hot day on the West coast. Was lucky enough this morning to find a parking spot, right out front of the court house. Was greeted by Murray Williams, who happened to be in the neighborhood. He informed me that I was impossible to miss. First impressions are everything you know. We were off to a good start.
Murray and I stood valiantly. We discussed plans for the upcoming, Sept.25/02 Public Candle Loght Vigil to be held in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. In support of Equal Parenting Week, Sept.23/02 to Sept.29/02
Many happy faces again today, a hustle and a bustle evident. Summer must be near its end as the court is becoming quite active. Forgot to mention yesterday, interesting to note is that 3 of the five youths I conversed with have never met their fathers.
Friday, August 30/02, Day # 22 : Greetings one and all from the somewhat cloudy and a whole lot cooler for a change, west coast. New something was up, lack of traffic this morning. Upon arrival at the court house, noted it seemed deserted. Had to check to see if they were indeed open. Counted maybe 8 people tops, inside that is. Some what of a skeleton crew. Must be the last long weekend of summer.
Read Todd's posting today regarding two other fathers protesting regularly BC court houses in Kelowna and Vernon. Allen Mills and David Thompson. Welcome aboard guys. Lets show them that we mean business. Todd , look forward to you joining us.Perhaps if enough of us fathers stood watch over every court in the land, together with a message saying the line has been crossed, and we will no longr accept the complete and utter dismissal of our God given rights, maybe then our politicians would listen.
Tuesday, September 03/02, Day # 23 : Greetings everyone. With the return of school, I assumed that the court too, would be busy, wrong. After a hazardous drive in (freak hail storm) I set up shop at my usual perch, soon to be engaged in conversations with those passing by. Was received with the usual dirty looks from lawyers and such. Steve from Vancouver came out to lend his support. Thanks Steve. I had the opportunity to meet his new two month old baby, absolutely adorable.
Not to much to report today. have a wonderful day everyone.
