Grub recently finished the requirements for his ASFA Field Champion title.  He is now retired from lure coursing due to shoulder trauma from an automobile accident.   He will continue to pursue other goals we've set for ourselves, which include his Companion Dog title, his LGRA title and recently we've started training for Canine Freestyle, a type of dance routine done to music.

Grub will be bred in winter 2003/2004 to SweetPea, inquiries are welcomed at the email link bottom right of this page.  A more extensive pedigree of sire and dam is available per request.

Grub was CERF'D clear in 2002.

YAHOO!!!   1/12/2003 - Grub goes WD for 2 points under Dr. Dale Simmons, to become an AKC Champion!
Finishing photo below! Grub is ALWAYS owner-handled.

Diagnosed with a so-far unidentified arthritic condition, I have trouble doing the more strenous tasks when caring for my dogs. Grub won't jump up on the grooming table, but he'll climb up for me, what a help that is, he averages 100 lbs more or less.
A shot of the "Who, Me?" look that gave Grub his nickname. It usually followed questions such as: "Grub, were you the one who chewed up the garden hose!?!"
Grub shown winning some of his first points under judge Polly Smith. Other judges who've awarded Grub points are: Dr. Dale Simmons, Cynthia Sommers, Jerry Watson, Dr. Asa Mays, Eugene Blake, Douglas Shipley, and Douglas Arthur. Thank you to all the judges who agreed with us that Grub should be a champion!
Grub at 7 weeks. Even then he had something special about him that made him stand out.
