TODAY's WISDOM ARCHIVES | |||||||||
No Money Involved | |||||||||
Day 5 -- Indecision is the the murderer of all that is holy. It kills thought, wreaks havoc on the body, and makes the brain billo in the winds of possible, imagined worlds. It makes retards of us all. To avoid this state, keep a coin with you at all times. If you can't decide, flip it. Heads is yes, tails is no. If the coin says yes, and you don't want to follow it, that means that you really could decide. You wondered: should I tell that guy he's an ass? The coin says no. Say you wanted the coin to say yes to that? Well, then you didn't need to flip the coin! Use the coin flip to decide when you genuinely can't decide, but when you do have a pull in the direction of one option, you should go down that road. However, the coin really knows better than you. But at least flippiing it can show you when you are not undecided. The coin is for indecision. It seems arbitrary to say, but -- by flipping the coin -- you are in essence tossing the decision over to the universe. The universe moves in the direction of harmony. The universe wants the coin to tell you the harmonious thing to do. It is, however, important to point out one factor that is really the key ingredient to this whole "coin thing". The coin is always right, but only under one condition. Your behavior must be that of a saint. It will not work if you are being a prick in any way shape or form and for any period of time. You must be a saintly man, a man who keeps himself BREATHING, strong, and positive. If you waver from these principals (breathing being the key to all), it will make you start to cut ethical corners. But if you do, the universe will then have the desire to neutralize you, to keep you from going in the derection of dishamony. Sometimes the universe will destroy you for that purpose, and use the coin to do it! -- just to get you out of the way of greater harmony. It is nothing personal, just THE WAY OF THINGS. But what's the big deal, right? You can be a saint, can't you? Actually, you only have to WANT to be a saint for the coin-flip decider to work as an asset (as opposed to a demon!) |
