Day 6 --
Ever wonder about where you go when you die?  I mean, a lot of religions relegate you to some kind of paradise vacation that never ends.  Sounds nice, but ultimately unlikely.  Therefore most so-called "rational beings" take death to be a "turning off" -- a finality.  True there are those imaginative souls out there who believe they will or already do occupy the universe in a non-physical form.  They have "ascended" as they call it, and will exist beyond their own physical existence.  The image is one of a spiritual butterfly, escaping its fleshy cocoon, finally FREE!  This is nothing more than a more thought-out version of the "vacation" model mentioned before it.  You are said to be "liberated" from physicality -- as though that wouldn't be hell.  Being paralized from the neck down would be a close approximation of what it would be like to exist without a body.

But it is all nonsense.  Let us get real.  Death IS a final process, isn't it?  We turn off, right?  Well, no.  Not really.

Quantum physics suggests that there is at least one parallel universe side by side with this one, in which you have already died.  Let's suppose that in THAT parellel universe, you were killed in a plane crash in say 1992.  So where did you go?  Well, to be precise.  You left a corpse in at least one parallel universe, but actually CONTINUED living in at least one other parellel universe.

Got it?  You have already died many times.  Your funeral was held thousands of times in the pasts of some of the parellel universes that you (ie "you" split amongst all your parallel universes) have inhabited.

After a while, everyone realizes that they will never die, some realize this much later than others.  I should say "re-remember." Kids are born with a sense of immortality for which they are even criticized, until the sense is removed thoroughly. Also, seeing that people die every day is a constant empirical force AGAINST the inherent  correct presumption of physical immortality.  Some re-remember, in the hospital during the final stages of an illness -- at like 90.  "Enough of this hospital!  I'm going home!"

Since you can't leave, the question is how are you going to be happy being here forever?  Well, you must be HEALTHY, first and foremost.  How do you stay healthy?  Why, by being cool, of course.  ALL THE TIME.  YEAH ALL THE TIME.  You may be right to be mad, but if the anger makes you uncool, then you are risking your health -- drastically!
When you get really good at living, you'll want to stop leaving corpses of yourself altogether.  An unlikely goal -- given certain unavoidable accidents -- but one worth striving for.  Why? Well, because leaving your corpse around is a form of littering!  I mean some poor bastard has to deal with your corpse, cry over it, embalm it and shit.  I think it's embarrassing, frankly.  The sooner you realize you never "leave" the earth, that you are in fact divided infinitly upon infinite earths, the less likely you are to leave a corpse.  It should calm you down!  But then you start to realize that each time you leave a corpse, one parallel- universe version of your mother weaps bitterly . . .  To her you ARE GONE . . .
