Greg gently knocked on the door and stood waiting. He figited nervously with his shirt. The door opened and a confused looking Michelle stood there looking at him..
"Greg?" she asked
"Can I come in?"
She stepped to the side and Greg walked into the apartment. The door shut behind him and he continued walking inside.
"Greg what are you doing here?" Michelle
"I'm here to pick up Jennifer."
"Jennifer? Oh right, yoru date." she laughed
Greg nodded
"Let me get her. Hang on."
Michelle left and walked into a room and shut the door behind her. Greg sat on teh barstool in the kitchen and stared at the wood floor. He knew Jennifer never really agreed to  go on a date with him but it was worth a try.
"Greg?"
Greg turned at the sound of his name and stood up when he saw Jennifer standing there. She was wearing a pair of light blue pj pants and a white tank top that really didn't hide anything. Greg didn't mind at all.
"Hi Jennifer."
Jennifer walked closer to him and sat down on the stool next to him.
"What are you doing here?" she asked
Greg nervously began to play with his hands. Michelle laughed and she put her hand over her mouth to cover her laughter.
"Our date. Remember?"
Greg had never felt so nervous around someone but Jennifer made him feel really nervous. Something about her. He just didn't know. Jennifer began to luagh but stopped when she saw that Greg was serious.
"Greg I can't go out now. I look horrible."
"I think you look fine."
Greg got off the bar stool and began walking toward the door. He shoved his hands in his pockets and sighed unhappily. Michelle looked at Jennifer. Her eyes begging her to give Greg a chance.
"Greg listen. Do you want to go get some coffee or soemthing?"
Greg stopped walking and turned as a small smile spread across his face.
"Really?"
Jennifer smiled and Greg suddenly became relaxed.
"Sure. Let me go change. Hang on."
Jennifer left again down the hallway and Greg breathed a sigh of relief. Michelle began to luagh and Greg looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" he asked
She continued laughing.
"Nothing."
He smiled amd began to laugh alos.
"I got a date with Jennifer." he sang
He stopped laughing and looked at Michelle who now looked serious.
"Greg. There is soemthing I think you should know."
"Not now Michelle."
"Seriously Greg. I don't wamt to see you get hurt."
Greg heard a door shut and turned around to see  Jennifer standing there waiting for him.
"Ready?" he asked
Jennifer walked closer to Greg and smiled.
"Yeah."
The two walked to teh door. Greg opened the door for Jennifer and once she was out he smiled at Michelle.
"Bye." he said with a wink
The two began to walk down the hallway. They didn't say anything to each other but Greg couldn't stop thinking abotu what Michelle tried to tell him. Once they stopepd at his car he opened the door for her and let her inside. He walked around the back of the car and ran a hand through his hair.
"Fuck."
Once he was in the car and began to drive he decided that somethinfg needed to be said.
"So what brings you down to Low Cal?" he asked
"I'm actually going to school here next semester."
Greg smile. A whole year with Jenniifer. He pulled the car into the parking lot and got Jennifer out  from the other side. They began to walk to the small coffee house that sat in the middle of the parking lot.
"So, what are you studying here?" he asked as he opened the door
"I'm a theater major." she smiled
The two sat down at the nearest table. Greg began to laugh and Jennifer gave her a questioning look.
"You? A theatere major?"
Jennifer leaned foward, resting her elbows on the table, and gave him a questioning look.
"Yeah. Your point?"
Greg quickly shut up. He was surprised. Jennifer had spunk. He liked that. Just another reason to like her.
"Nothing. I'm just surprised."
Jennifer still glared at him angrily. Luckily a waitress stepped up to their table.
"Can I get you two something?"
Greg nodded at Jennifer as a sign to tell her to go first.
"I'll have the raspberry mocha."
The waitress smiled happily and then looked at Greg.
"Mint tea please."
Once the waitress left Jennifer gave Greg a suspicious smile.
"Mint tea?"
"One of my bad habits from England. But don't try to change the subject."
"I didn't know we had one?" Jennifer giggled
Greg nervously ran his hand along the table and then looked at Jennifer.
"We did. You were the subject."
Jennifer blushed and Greg grew worried. He hoped he hadn't insulted her. However he was quickly relieved when a smile crossed her face.
"Oh yes. Just becasue I'm so interesting."
The two smiled happily.
"Well I can't answer that now but I would like to get to know you a little more."

Jennifer looked at her watch. It read 3:00.'Oh my gosh Greg. We should really go now."
He yawned and nodded.
"Shit I guess your right."
They left the coffee house and got into Greg's car.
"You know what they say. Tiem flies when your having fun." she laughed
"We were having fun?" he asked
"You know what I mean. Don't be a smart-ass."
'Sorry."
"No your not." she laughed
Greg parked his car in front of the apartment building and he and Jennifer got out and slowly walked to Michelle's apartment. Greg hated akward goodbye's and this would be the worst. Once they stopped at the door Greg stared at the ground and Jennnifer tried to look everywhere but Greg's eyes. Finnaly she looked at him and smiled.
"I had a good time tonight."
Greg looked at Jennifer suprised.
"Me too. Thanks for going out with me."
"Your not such a bad guy Greg."
"Well thanks Jen."
She then wrapped her arms around Greg in a small hug. Greg was suprised but enjoyed the feeling of being in her arms. She let go and smiled at him.
"'Night."
Greg watched as she opened the door and slipped inside. Greg began walking down the hallway in a daze. Who cared what Michelle had to say, he loved Jennifer.
