The Flutes This photo was taken by Tammy during the Havre de Grace Parade on July 1, 2001. Havre de Grace ParadeHAVRE DE GRACE, MD - Havre de Grace held their Fourth of July celebration on July 1, and Wendy, as part of the Baltimore Marching Ravens, was a part of that parade. After the parade, Wendy invited her section to her home for a cookout before they had to head home after the hot parade. |
July 4th ParadesBALTIMORE, MD - The Baltimore Raven's Marching Band participated in their usual three parades on the Fourth of July. The first, and longest, was in Dundalk. The parade route went through a residential area and was quite pleasant. The second parade, and the shortest, was in Towson. The parade route went through the city for a few blocks. The third parade was in Catonsville. The Raven's Band was the 29th unit in the parade, and had pleasant weather, but Wendy later found out that the Havre de Grace High School Band, which was in the 60's or 70's, got rained on. The Raven's Band played two songs for these parades - Washington Post March and The Raven's Fight Song. At review stands, the band played The Fight Song preceded by the Champions Fanfare. |
