About Pepper

Portrait of Pepper

Pepper
Pepper was the first kitten to join us.

HOMEFRONT - Pepper was our first kitten. She is gray striped, and we came to name her Pepper because Tom
looked at the pepper shaker the second day we had her and thought that she was the same color.
Pepper is the smartest of our three cats, and also the most agile. She was an outside cat before she came to us, and is different in that respect.
Pepper loves to interact with us while we are using the computer. She likes to walk in front of the monitor while we are working on the computer, and she will climb up into my lap, and take her place lying on my chest. She also acts as an alarm clock for me on most mornings. Around the time
that the alarm goes off, she will jump up onto the bed, come over to where I am lying, step onto my chest, and start kneading my belly.
She is the meanest of our three cats, but only when it comes to Oregano. For example, if I am holding her, and giving her a lot of attention, and Oregano walks into the same room, she'll jump out of my arms and run over and hit him with her front paws. I don't even have to acknowledge Oregano, and she goes into a jealous rage! It's weird, because she doesn't react to Nutmeg that way.
