Rolo® Brownies

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 36 ROLO pieces
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ cup finely chopped nuts
Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Combine sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Beat on low speed of electric mixer until ingredients are moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes or until smooth and well blended. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  4. Place ROLO pieces and milk in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir until well blended. Spread over warm brownies. Sprinkle with nuts; press gently into top of brownies. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares. 16 brownies.
