Mark Your Calendars!
The time is nearly here! The Class of 1981's 20th year reunion is
right around the corner. The reunion weekend is scheduled for Friday,
July 20th, through Sunday, July 22nd, 2001. The committee has been
working hard to plan a great weekend for all!
Let's Get Together!
The reunion weekend will begin on Friday, July 20th, with an icebreaker
at MY PLACE in New Windsor. There will be a cash bar and some light
food. Come on over and see your old friends and make some new ones.
The BIG Night!
Here it is, the highlight of our weekend! Our dinner will be Saturday,
July 21st, at the Brookside Manor in Middletown, NY. The evening will
begin with a cocktail hour, followed by a buffet dinner. There will be
a DJ for dancing and an open bar.
Family Time
Our Sunday event will be for the entire family. Our picnic will take
place at Orange County Park in Montgomery from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
There will be food, soft drinks, beer, and games for everyone! You do
not need kids to come and enjoy the day with your friends. Everyone is
welcome for a great day of fun!
REMEMBERING.........
We have provided a questionnaire and would appreciate it if you could
return it to the committee by May 31st. We are interested to know what
everyone has been up to these past few years! Send your form to the
reunion committee at the address above. You can email your responses to
the reunion committee at: rwhs1981@hotmail.com
In addition, please take a few minutes to think about what were some of
your favorites songs or memories from high school. We are also asking
everyone to send in pictures that capture the spirit and memories of
our high school years. Additionally, any current pictures of
classmates who have stayed together would be great, a sort of "now and
then." Please put your name and address on the back of the photos.
They will be returned to you.
ETC..........................
The reunion committee will be providing referrals for babysitting
services in case you need someone to watch your children on Saturday
night. If we have enough people needing babysitters, we can possibly
set up something at one of the hotels next to the Brookside Manor.
That way, you can drop your child/children off before and pick them up
after the dinner. The teenage daughters of some our class members will
offer this service for a fee. If you need any additional information
about this please let us know as soon as possible. You can send an
email to rwhs1981@hotmail.com We will also be reserving a block of
rooms at several area hotels. More information will follow. We will
also be offering Safe Rides for people for the Friday and Saturday
night events...just in case.... but please, be responsible! We look
forward to seeing everyone in July. Until then, best regards from
