ATHLETIC BOOSTERS
The Walkersville High School Athletic Boosters is a volunteer organization formed to support all Walkersville High School Athletics. All parents with students who participate in WHS athletics automatically become a booster member. There is a board of 21 members who have voting privleges. This committee raises money necessary to boost the athletics program. All money raised is used to benefit each sport at Walkersville High School.
MEETINGS
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 in the staff developement room or the classroom next to the cafeteria.; All are welcome to attend.
FUNDRAISING
Currently our fundraising activities include:; The sale of Blue and Gold Admission Passes, Concession Stand revenue, Raffle tickets, 50/50 raffles, Fall Sports programs and tip jars .;
COMPLETED PROJECTS
Stadium and gym updated sound systems, softball dugouts, The mule cart, scorer tables in the gym, $15,000 turned over to the Athletic Department for 2007 to be used for things like new softball/ baseball bleachers and team benches for the stadium.
STADIUM RENOVATION PROJECT

This is a huge undertaking to improve the conditions of our stadium and the entrance building.; Phil Shortt and Ralph Picarella have moved into high gear, meeting with contractors to gather options and prices to be presented to the Board of Education for review.They need help with this as well as deciding fundraising avenues such as raffles, dances, corporate donations, grants etc...; If you would like to be on this committee or think you can help in some way; contact; Phil Shortt @ Shorttw2ts@aol.com

We need energetic and enthusiastic people to lend their time and talents to support Walkersville High School Athletics..; We would like to have a; representative from each and every sport to increase our awareness of what is needed to improve all of the athletics at Walkersville High;
