Agenda for January 3, 2008

1. MLP partnerships
    a. Holding off on meeting about the "Demand Response/Energy Shaving Program" until the school board makes its decision to participate
    b. MLB meeting on Jan 29th 5:30. We are on the agenda to pursue funding for the solar panels...need vlunteers to present 10-15 minutes (PP) on benefits and needs of solar panels, also to write up a brief statement to that effect to be handed out...meet with Ms. Green asap to put this together.

2. Green SBC meeting.
     a. We have been inivted to a green SBC meeting. Note from Dr. Keough: On 1/12, from 9:30 to 3:00 pm, the School Building Committee (SBC) is holding a meeting  to talk about going "green" in the planning of the new high school. The architects will be there leading the discussion, which will be round rable in nature, and all parties will be given an opportunity to "weigh in." There is a green organization in town which has been pushing for this event.
     b. Who can go? What do we need to do to be prepared?

3. Bradford article--Carolyn DeCelles
    a. who will respond with the necessary info?

4. Nalgene Bottles
    a. 16 pre-orders
    b. still waiting for our funds to be released

5. Green Certification
    a. poster completed?
    b. any certifications left to do from our inital list or are we ready to start advertising  again?

6. Selling of items
    a. Advertise in classrooms/homes
    b.  need to respond to Missy's emails either yes, no, or maybe but get back to her!!
    c. schedule and procedure

7. Upcoming projects
    a. green leadership mentoring at middle/elementary schools
    b. seminar day
    c. earth day
    d. cafeteria culutre shift

8. Green Pledges and artices
    a. each member shares their green pledge (if they want to) and their article
    b. Email Soomi a link to your article and summary.
