III. Planet Aid Boxes
a. Discuss program and situation
-No more books bin (for end of year recycling we need to contact Got Books)
-WHS gets 2¢/pound for clothes
-Clothes go to people who need them, bad quality get made into rags
b. Need volunteers to:
i. Write up and submit an ad in th PTSO Bulletin
ii. Write an announcement for the office/morning announcements
iii. Make posters advertising the bin
iv. Talk to Middle School Green Team and possibly get a box over there
-Volunteers: Courtney, Katie S., Melissa
IV. Cafeteria Greening
a. Samples of Cafeteria Materials
-Trays made of eco-friendly/biodegradable material
b. Need volunteers to:
i. Research
ii. Go to student congress, Dr. Keough with complaints and suggestions
-Volunteers: Cora, Lucy, Sue
V. Solar Panel Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
a. Mary Gard from SMART
b. Attend the Ceremony!
i. Saturday, December 10th, 10:00 am, Wellesley High School
c. Need volunteers to help Ms. Gard with the invitations
-Volunteers: Claire, Leticia
-Does anyone want to make a speech?
VI. Other Business
a. Fundraising
i. Need volunteers to organize this (i.e. selling at sports games, on Mezz, etc.)
-Hsieh, Jane
-Sell before holidays, fill water bottles with candy
b. Facebook Update
-About 150 members!
