Yearbooks

To Order a Yearbook:

Yearbooks may be purchased through our publisher - Jostens. Jostens will mail home information on how to purchase a yearbook a least 3 times in the fall. These mailings go out to all students enrolled in September.

Transfer students, or students that don't receive the mailings for any reason, should contact Team Yearbook to get order information.

Yearbooks can be ordered through the schools store.

The number of yearbooks ordered is finalized in January and is based on the number of pre-sales. If students wait too long, they may miss the opportunity to get a yearbook.

"The List" - A list of students who have purchased a yearbook will be posted in the windows of Room 52 before the December break. Check to make sure you've reserved your yearbook.

Distribution of Yearbooks:

Yearbooks are distributed at the annual Spring Picnic in May. Usually there are a limited number of yearbooks available to purchase at the picnic, but there is no guarantee.

Old Yearbooks:

We have some old yearbooks, from various years, that are available to purchase.

Recent yearbooks are available for purchase in the school store.

Artwork and Poetry:

Monthly lists of topic specific work needed will be posted in the windows of Room 52 and in the art room.

If students would like to submit original work, we would love to have it. Contact us for more details.

Business Ads:

Due December 15th

The WHS Yearbook costs more than $50,000 to produce. We need to raise money through local advertisers to help reduce the cost of the yearbook to the students.

Information is mailed out to all WHS families. Contact us for more details.

Additional forms are available in the school store.

Parents of Seniors:

Senior Portraits -

Due October 15^th

Pictures need to be wallet size (3" x 2" Portrait Orientation)

Black & White or Color (the yearbook is in B & W)

Glossy is best - Polaroid's are not acceptable.

Do not feel obligated to have professional portraits done for the yearbook.

Students may have their pictures taken at school by the school photographer for the yearbook and have no obligation to buy them. Students may have parents or friends take the picture.

Senior Sketch -

Due October 15th

Senior write up with achievements and memories

Submit on a PC disk in MS Word - or

Come into room 52 and type it there

The Way We Were Photos -

Due October 15^th

Submit photos of groups of seniors when they were little

This is free (no guarantee the photo will be published - we get hundreds of photos)

Label with name and return address on the back - do not use pen - it may damage the photos.

Glossy is best - Only good quality photos will be used - Polaroid's are not acceptable.

No cut outs - we don't do collages

Labeled photos will be returned by graduation

Parent Ads -

There is a fee for this - information will be mailed home or pick up a form from Team Yearbook.

This is a place for parents to write a message to their graduating senior and include a photo(s).
