Well this year denoted no Derby Winner :( In the KY Derby, it was The Mexican All The way... he gave everyone a run for their shoes, In the Triple Tiara, (ARS) French Flare took the KY Oaks.

Nov 9th, 2001- This Years Breeder's Cup proved to be the Best Ever! We had a awesome day at Wish Horse Downs. There was even a Dead Heat in the Classic!! Has That ever happened??? In the Real Classic, TizNow won it for the 2nd year in a Row! Catch all that TB Action at the Jockey Club.

Nov 5th, 2001- The Jockey club is now preparing to start the Sire/Dam statistics for 2002. We will name a Champion Sire and Champion Dam(SIM sire and Dam only). Plus the Jockey Club will also name a Farm of Distinction, threw member voting.

Sept 28th, 2001 -WOW, There has been so much going on since the last time this newsletter was updated. Sarah Jane took over the WHJC for a couple month while Candice slowed down with her SIM load. School has started for so many WH'ers, things are slowing a bit. But the Thoroughbred excitement is still there.

We have just completed the 3rd prep for the WH Breeder's Cup 2001. This year should PROVE to be exciting!!! Close to 3/4 of the horses being raced have been sired by SIM stallions. I plan to set up some charts outlining each stallion's offspring and their success.

July 2nd, 2001 - Yesterday results came out for the Green Jumpers divison in the RCJS! There were a total of 39 horses competeing for a spot in the top ten, however, only 10 of those horses made it. The weather was cloudy in the morning but as the day wore on the sun started to come out of it's shell, and riders continued hustling and bustling, trying to get their saddles and tack and horses ready. When the day was done, there were ten horses that now can claim they placed top ten in the RCJS. Among these top ten placers were some extremely talented Thoroughbreds and half Thoroughbreds such as Caliente who placed 6th overall, California Justice who placed 7th, Isle de France who placed 8th, and Spyder Games who placed 10th. There was some extremely tough competition yesterday, all the horses and riders doing their absolute best trying to get a spot, however, only the best placed. Stay tuned as later we'll have coverage from the Childrens Jumpers division.

June 30th, 2001 - Well, everyone is definitely awaiting the Royale Classic Jumper Show to be held on July 5th. Surely there will be more than a few Thoroughbreds and part Thoroughbreds showing off their stuff. Great horses such as GCh. SOS Case Dismissed, Ch. Galaxy, California Justice, and Painted Gucci. Who know's who the winners will be, but we do know that literally *everyone* is sitting, waiting, anticipating the results of one of the biggest shows of the year in WH. We'll be sure to have full coverage as the day progresses.
