| CMC Simitar's Curly Duke is a buckskin curly draft colt. He was born August 3, 2007, and is BIG. Duke is out of our draft cross mare Dolly, who is 14.3hh+/-, and 1500+lbs. His sire is FFS MacSimitar Legacy, an ABCR curly stallion. Duke has microcurls on his rump, and is a buttermilk buckskin, with black points. | CMC Simitar's Fade to Black is our first curly foal born this year. He was born on May 31, and is out of Kentucky Lightening. Fade to Black is a smoky black microcurled colt. He looks jet black, but has tan inside his ears, and lighter colored legs. We have received the results of a genetic color test, which show that Fade to Black is a rare smoky black. This means that he carries a cream dilute gene, and could produce buckskins, palominos, and more! He has rare bloodlines, and is a rare color, which would make him highly useful as a stallion. His friendly disposition & curious nature add to that. Simitar's Fade to Black should mature into a wonderful western-type horse, and could make a great stallion prospect or riding horse! | CMC Simitar's Apache Summer is my much- hoped-for overo curly filly. She was born July 21, 2007, out of Apache's Curly Miss, and by FFS MacSimitar Legacy. Summer is a buckskin overo, with a brillo curly coat. She is very curious, and friendly, and has some "tall shoes" to fill, if she is to follow in her mother's footsteps. We will be keeping her for our program, and she will be used as one of our main riding horses. We plan to ride her in Western as well as dressage, as her mother has excelled in both. | CMC Simitar's Golden Peso is a sharp looking palomino sabino curly filly. She was born July 17, 2007, out of Im A OK Peso, and by FFS MacSimitar Legacy. Simitar's Golden Peso, aka "Etta", has 4 perfect socks, and a beautiful blaze, to add the finishing touches to a golden palomino coat. She has a microcurly coat, and tightly curled eyelashes, with a short back, and quarter horse butt. She is truly a wonderful example of what good breeding can bring to the curly world. The Fredell lines give her a stocky build, and her personality is "all curly". Etta will mature 14.2hh-14.3hh range, and has a lot of potential. She is full-ABCR, ICHO, and PHBA eligible. | CMC Simitar's Rose Red is a vibrant curly filly, with a very outgoing personality! She was born June 14, 2007, out of Colonel's Indigo Girl, and by FFS MacSimitar Legacy. This filly is perfect, and has the potential to do everything, from western to english, but I would highly recommend her to be used as a family/4-H horse. Rose Red has a very laid back, quiet disposition, and is happy to greet anyone who comes to visit her pasture. She should mature 14.2hh+, with a very stocky build. | All of our foals are imprinted at birth, and handled daily. We work with them as they grow, to teach them to be respectful of humans, and to enjoy being worked with. Our foals are halter trained, and are expected to stand tied, pick up their feet, load into a trailer, and stand quietly for a vet or farrier. By the time that they are sold to new homes, they have had all of these things done with them as weanlings. We vaccinate our foals and keep them up to date on their worming and hoof care. We include a recent coggins, vet exam, and any registration paperwork filled out with each foal when it goes to a new home.
