Minutes from October meeting read by Linda and approved.

 

Treasurer’s report  by Laina.  Current report states we have $3590.78 in our account.  Deposits since last meeting : $12.00 happy  bucks, $48 chocolate airplanes & $12 donation..  Expenditures:  $70 to Jana Young for summer social.

 

Committee Reports:

Fundraising: Rochelle gave a report on Creative Memories and Pampered Chef (which has been extended until December 4, 2005

 

Old Business:

Stephanie Allen extended an invitation the chapter to join WPA Paine Field Chapter at their Christmas Gala.  The Gala is being held at the Future of Flight at Paine Field December 2, 2005.  You must register by November 23.  There is a brief meeting for the WPA awards to be announced then the fun begins.  The cost is $40 per person, which includes dinner.  If you choose not to eat, the cost is $20.  They will also be awarding door prizes, as well as tickets to visit the Future of Flight Interpretive Center when it is completed.

 

 

Trade Show in Puyallup February 25 and 26, Linda passed around a sign up sheet to register if you prefer Saturday or Sunday and am or pm to be available.  Two different ladies sighed up for Sunday PM.  We also had a discussion on the 45 minute time slot we have for speaking, which we will try to have a panel to discuss aviation careers.

 

New Business

Annual Report:  I had sent on to v. president Trish Beckman the report I had gotten from International that we will need to complete.  We had discussion on what projects we had done this year and Laina will contact Trish to pass on the information to get the report filed.

 

Aviation High School Young Eagles accident:  I had passed around the email I got from Yukiko to donate to the fund that has been set up.

 

Washington Chapter Scholarship did come out in the current magazine and Linda thanked Laina for dedicating  out scholarship to thank Janet Clark.

 

Linda read the e-mail from Jennifer Roberts about the internships being offered by St. Louis engineering.  There web site is: http://www.boeing.com/employment/college/index.html.

 

Linda read the e-mal from Wendy Brady that she is now back and her dues are paid.  She got a new job with Aviation Partners at Boeing Field.  You can come back, we always welcome you.

 

Good of the order:

 

Lori Swobody asked questions about helping International at there annual conference.

 

Discussion on setting up tour and a brief talk for Boeing employees to learn more about airplanes.

 

Paine Field General Aviation Day May 20, 2006, we would like to have a booth there again.
