Life with Ernest and Liz Crafted by Liz Wiatrek
March 20, 2009 - My Mother is 80 years old today.  Wow!
The herb garden is now home to four tomato plants.  The weather has been pleasant for working there.  So much to do.
In a few days I'll head south to spend about a week with my sister.  We're going to the Austin Stockshow and Rodeo the evening that Credence Clearwater provides the entertainment.  Should be a hoot!  Will also make a trip to Brownwood to visit the folks.
I've been sewing up a storm the last month or so.  Made an outfit for myself out of some fabric that Trish gifted me with.  There was enough left over to make Maraya something.  It was fun.
Brother Tony with nieces Madelyn and Alaina standing on frozen Saranac Lake!  There are more pictures on the "Tony and Jamie" page - link below.
Peyton and Makayla have fun in the snow that fell on Albemarle January 20th.
Maraya's school picture taken last fall.
The Food Adventure:  Food is fun!  Made an appetizer dish for dinner the other night - STEAK WITH CHIMICHURRI TOASTS.  I used top sirloin instead of flank for the steak.  The meat was incredibly tender.  And, last week I made PANCHO VILLA STEW.  Aaahh!  All things Tex-Mex!  It was quick and easy and required very little clean up.
Check THE ARCHIVE for additional recipes.
