Dion Fortune (Violet Mary Firth) (1890-1946)was one of the greatest 2oth century occult writers. In 1919 she became a member tf The Order of the Golden Dawn, and in 1922 she established the Fraternity of Inner Light (now The Society of Inner Light). She is the author of many occult books, both fiction and non-fiction, of which her best known work is The Mystical Qabalah, which by many occultists is regarded as one of the finest text books on magic ever written. |
