| Your Book of Shadows is a very personal thing. So it should reflect you. You may want to get something that is quite large as over time your book will contain more and more things. Binders or another type of book that you can add/rearange pages too is a good idea that way you can keep organized and know where to find things. Over time you may even find that you have not just one book, but other books on other topics. That is ok too. It is not necessay to write your Book of Shadows in a Magickal alphabet, however you can if you want to learn one. There are lots of books available that show you how to write in Theban etc. Book Blessing It is customary to write a book blessing on the inside cover or first page of your Book of Shadows. This is done for both protection and dedication purposes. Take some time to think about how you would like to word this blessing then write it in your book. Favroite Quotes and Magickal Rules In the next few pages of your Book of Shadows you might want to include some quotes and the magickal rules. That way they are easily available and you can refer back to them at anytime, or before you do any magickal work. Magickal Information Before you add any spells and rituals you might want to add some information about differnt magickal topics. Put any research or thoughts you have here. Some topics you might want to include are..
