Freyr
Freyr (also known as Yng, Frey) is the Norse god of fertility, weather and  the ruler of the light elves, called the Alfheim. He is a peaceful diety, along with a fierce warrior. Freyr is said to be the most beautiful of all males members of the Vanir  There is a statue of Freyr in the temple at Uppsala in Sweden, which is the center of His cult. In southern Sweden he was named Fricco. Freyr is called upon to bless marriages with fertility.
Family
Freyr is the son of Njord and Njord's sister. His step-mother's name is Skadi. Freyr's name  literally means "Lord", and it is possible that He was once the consort of Freya (his sister) whose name literally means "Lady". His wife is a beautiful giantess named Gerd, who He fell for when He sighted her from Odin's throne.

More
Freyr is the owner of the ship named Skidbladnir ("wooden-bladed") which was created by the dwarves for His use. The ship is able to sail through air, land and sea and is large enough to fit all the Gods into. Despite its large size, the ship is able to be folded up to fit into a pocket.
