Fresh Tomatoe with Dill and Mozzerella

Large fresh tomatoes
Fresh basil

(not dried)
Fresh mozzerella

For each serving use half of a large tomatoe
(sliced so that the stem ends are top and bottom, and the cut divides the top and bottom)
Cut off the stem ends (about 1/8th to 1/4 inch and use this portion diced in a salad)
Place each tomatoe-half with the widest part face-up
Top each tomatoe-half with 1/2 inch slice round mozzerella
place a generous sprig of fresh basil on top of each serving
serve right away!
Dill Pepper Vinegar

1 quart white vinegar
2 tablespoons crushed black peppercorns
fresh dill stalks

Pour vinegar into large stainless steel or enamel pan. Add peppercorns.
Stuff a quart jar very loosely with clean dill stalks until it is full.
Heat vinegar mixture over low heat for thirty minutes, then pour over the dill. Cork and place in window (south would be best, magickally speaking) for three weeks, shaking daily. Stores well. Use in cooking or on salads.
