Choose 3 or 7 dried protection herbs. Place equal parts of each in an earthenware bowl. Silently mix them together for a few moments with your hands. Spread a 7" square piece of white cotton cloth on your altar. Place the herbs in the center of the cloth, and tie the little bundle firmly with a piece of red string, yarn or thread. Make a total of 13 knots, each time saying these words as you tie each knot;
"I bind thee to protect this house and all within it."
When finished, stand facing North, holding up your magick knife in your strong hand, with the sachet in the other. With the tip of the knife pressed against the sachet, say these words;
"May this which i have fashioned here,
serve as guardian and protection for this house, all who reside within, and all that we hold dear.
Well, may it serve mine and me,
So say it I so mote it be!"
If the sachet is being made for an office, car or boat, or to be carried on one's person, substitute the appropriate words." |
