December I am the moon. I shine through the night In radiant, splendorous, silvery light I rule the gardens and I rule the tides I rule emotions and thoughts held inside Mine is the World of Spirit, and deep Within all My glory its secrets I keep But I give direction and I lead the way Exposing it all while sleeping, you lay For as you rest, My teaching begins Consistant without any end So nod off to sleep; rest long and well As I weave the threads of My magic spell by Dorothy Morrison |
December I am the starlight that twinkles on high Sparkling like diamonds on the ebony sky Mariner's friend and astronomer's quest Our mother's glorious blanket and guest But I am, too, something deeper and more (almost forgotten, but written in lore) So I call out to you and beckon you near Enticing you as from the window you peer Bring me your wishes and honest desires - Passionate fancies and unquiet fires - Give them to me with a fervent petition And I'll ignite each into total fruition by Dorothy Morrison |
