Circle Castings and Closings
What is a circle?

A circle is concidered by most to be a temple, where magick is formed. It acts as a link between "worlds" and also and a protective shield.

How do I cast, or create, a circle?

There are a million ways to cast a circle. For simple spells, we recommend  either  placing  witch bottles at the four corners (North=Earth, south=Fire , east=Air, west=water), or simply sprinkling salt and water at the circumference and walking around the circle three time clockwise  with incense to  cleanse the space and build up energy.

For more complex rituals and spells we recommend doing what is mentioned about and calling out the Guardians of Watch Towers of the four quarters and invoking the God and Goddess, or whatever Deities you which to bless the circle.

Do I always need to cast a circle?

No, simple charms, prayers, incantions, and the like don't in to be performed in a circle, but you are free to cast circles for those senerios if you feel inclined to do so.

How do I close a circle after a spell/ ritual?

Simple. Release the Guardians of the Watch Towers, thanking them for their presences. Thank the Deities you've summoned, and say the phrase "This circle is uncasted, but never broken." Then meditate and ground to stablize your energy.
