The Fight to Save to World
As pagans, witches and Wiccans, we have a profound respect for nature and our environment (or should).  However, a large majority of our world is rotting from underneath our feet, so to speak.  It is my belief that we, as children of Mother Earth should do our part to conserve our beautiful planet.  There are endless ways of doing this.
Here are a few example:

RECYCLE- This seems pretty self evident, but I would like to make this point. If you live in a small town that doesn't   have a local recycling center, you might like to store recyclables in Rubbermaid boxes and take (bi)monthly trips to the neartest recycling center. Also pleae note that not all recycle centers take all recycling numbers. For example, the center that comes weekly to my neighborhood only takes recyclables with a 1, 2, 5 or 6 stamped on the container. For the most part, when a recycling center receives items it can't process, it will only send it to the nearest landfills.

START A COMPOST HEEP-  This is getting easier and easier to do believe it or not, and goes quite well with the Wiccan concept "return to earth what as been borrowed".  My familly has had an ongoing compose pile which we collect the dirt every spring and use it as fertilizer. Plants LOVE IT!.   Our compose bucket if you will allows us to collect the rain water which as steeped through the compose.  Adding one cup of this liquid and adding it to ten cups of regular hose water is a great treat of your magickal plants. Within days, certain plants will double in size after being give this little, healthy treat. If you would like more information as to how to get a compose going or what to put in it, please email Wiccan Madness and we will give you some great tips.

USE CLOTHS INSTEAD OF PAPER TOWEL

USE CLOTH DIAPERS- Tricky to learn, but cloth diapers are so much more ecological that plastic. You'd be surprised at how much diapers fill up landfills.

DONATE MONEY TO A LOCAL ECOLOGICAL GROUP OR ORAGANIZATION

JOIN SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB- Your school doesn't have one, you say? START ONE! If you are out of school volunteer for an environmental organization.

DON'T LITTER.

VOLUNTEER TO CLEAN PARKS AND OTHER AREAS

DON'T BUY BOTTLED WATER- It's a packaging waste, and get this they take water out of your back yard and they sell it back to you for like 2 bucks a bottle. Goodness! Email us for more info on bottled water scandel.

BUILD A BAT HOUSE-- I know sounds silly, but it's a fun project, besides, a bat can eat up to 1,200 misquitoes an hour, including those that may carry harmful diseases. On the contrary to popular beliefs, bat aren't disease carries, and they don't attack humans!
