Tools of the Craft
Below is a list of commonly used tools in Witchcraft.

Athame- Ritual knife used to direct energy during ritual.

Besom- Broom.

Bolline- Knife used for cutting things such as herbs and string.

Book of Shadows- Book of ritual, spells, and magickal lore.

Broom- Symbolizes the Goddess, when swept form east to west it removes negativity.

Candle- used in candle burning rituals, lit for protection and the invocation of spirits, flame used for scrying.

Censer- Incense burner.

Grimoire- Magickal workbook that contains ritual information, formulas, and magickal properties. Similar to a Book of Shadows, often used in Herbalism.

Incense- used to conscrate space, protection, smoke used for scrying..

Labrys- Double headed axe, symbolizes duelity (NOT for swinging at people).

Pendulum- divinatory device which consists of an heavy object attached to a string. Moves in different directions depending on answers.

Pentacle- A Ritual object upon which a five pointed stars is inscribed, painted of engraved.

Pentagram- A five-pointed star kept close to the witch's body for protection. Usually a jewelry item.

Runes- Stones, or chips of wood upon which old Teutonic Alphabets are inscribes.
