While looking around at my favorite store, Fabricville, I found this great material on sale. I had been wanting more medieval clothes, like Nancy’s wardrobe, but I wasn’t going to pay what they were asking!
Fabric
I bought two meters of this emerald green jacquard. I managed to make this ensemble and I still have enough for a shorter version of it.
Pattern
The skirt is two rectangles that are sewn together down to the knee. There are decorative ties at the spliting point. The waist is tied on each side. A very basic skirt.
The bustier is made from McCall’s 2793 and follows it.
Advice
Decoration fabrics make great medieval clothes! |
