Magick is in every color. And every color has its own magickal potential and vibration.Color can make a spell happen. By using color right, you can achieve positive results in your spells. Everything around us, including us, responds and is effected by colors. Corresponding candle colors to the type of magick spell you do greatly improves your chances of the spell actually happening. Colors also correspond with what day of the week, what planet, what herbs you use and for what the spell will be for. It's just as important as the incantation you do with it during the spell. Look for solid colored candles. Small votives are usually easy to find at your local Wal-Mart Store or Dollar Store, and are usually quite inexpensive. Try to find candles that are totally solid in color. Some candles have a colored coating on the outside but have a different color incide once they are burning down. Tapers are usually good solid colored candles to get. You can also make your own candles from Bees Wax. If you choose to do this you can add herbs, stones and anything to increase the power of the candle. There are Seven Knob wishing candles, glass contained candles, image candles, globe candles, and many, many others. If you are going to do a spell that has you writing on parchment, coordinate the parchment color with the candle for better results. Annointing candles is quite easy also. Select the proper magickal oil to correspond to your magickal spell, and rub the oil around the outside of the candle. If your spell is to rid something, start from the middle and rub to the ends. If it is to draw something to you, start from the ends and rub to the middle. Once the candle has been annointed and used for one specific purpose, do not use it again for another spell. Once the spell has been cast, the candle belongs to that specific spell.
