| Esbats are days specifically set aside to do magickal workings for a friend in need, te set a stage for a new endeavor , etc... Full Moon and New Moon celebrations are usually the days and nights of an Esbat, so as to use the correct moon phase for the ultimate results. This does not mean that you cannot honor the God during an Esbat. Rituals have been written for both deities. Esbats are considered working celebrations. They are times for you to raise energies, cast spells, perform healings and solve minor difficulties in your life. This does not mean that you cant just have a ritual to homor a deity, if everything is going smoothly .
