Only one way is the true path
Many people in terms of global society are confused by the vast differentiation that exist between all the religions of the world. In a lot of ways, the religions of the world are very similar, but in other ways they are very different. Many people have turned aside to the belief that because the principles of each are the same, then it is alright and it makes perfect sense to combine all religions of the world into one. Such an idea is part of the vast and growing on a daily basis New Age Movement. The New Age movement strongly advocates the idea that God has revealed himself in diffrent ways to many different people. They particularly focus on the idea of there having ben nine manifestations of God throughout history and that soon there will be the tenth manifestation called the Kalki avatar. This idea spurns from Hinduism. There are some interesting things to notice about the Kalki Avatar in comparison to the book of Revelation in the Bible. The Hindus believe that the Kalki Avatar will return riding a white horse to once again establish the Golden age for the earth. In revelation, the antichrist is mentioned in chapter 6 as riding on on a white horse. White is a symbol of peace and many will fall for him as the Messiah because he comes in peace. Rather than the belief in one Messiah, New Agers advocate a believe in many Messiahs. Messiah literally means "anointed one"
and is used to describe many people but ony one is described as the Messiah. the everlasting who will establish the kingdom of God upon the earth forever. As a Christian I believe this is Jesus Christ who will return soon to establish peace for those who have placed their faith in him. The New Age idea of God on the surface is so anti-logical. In reality, there is no way to reconcile the universal traditions that describe God and his work of revelation. That is because that if God has revelaed himself in many different ways, then the ways in which he revealed himself are so contradictory on the surface that they can not be reconciled. That means that he would obviously have had to lie somewhere along the way. If he would lie about himself, would he not also lie about this path to utopia that he has offered to all. Thus, the concept of deviating away from controversy by being in favor of all the religions is so absurd and will get the individual nowhere because they are neutral. In Sports, no player is allowed to play for two teams in the same sport at once. The same applies to religious matters. So if you are neutral, I want you to know that you are never going to acquire a victory in this life. That is what we are all out for, but in order to acquire it we have to take the side that we think is best. No one ever acquired a victory by being neutral. Therefore I suggest that all these religiously blind people who are trying to deviate away from controversy by not taking sides finally realize that they have to take a side. Pick the team that you think is going to bring you the victory whether it be the Taoists, Buddhists, Confucians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, or Christians, or one of the other many religions in the world. Remember only one of these ways can possibly be the right way to the utopian world or none of them are. If none of them are, then live your life partying your brains out because you have nothing to aim for and might as well enjoy life for what it is.
