Dreamer
17 May 2000
Creep up behind me to lay hands upon my waist
And find the sweetness in my eyes
That I deny all others.
Embrace my body with strength of arm and character
And pull me in to you
As you teach me the ways once more
Of vulnerability.
Didactic lessons I yearn
Of ancient magics of love and honor
That make the heart safe
To trust once more.
Come, share thespian loves and logophile pursuits
While we drench each debate
With laughing wines and wicked java brews.
