I Feel Family

28 Feb 2001

Your hope, gentle and strong family in your eyes you entice me. You speak to me tell me that you feel you’ve known me forever; I feel the same. This is not right, for your family must take precedence. Yet you take me to the edge tense with sexual energy and pull me over. It is not the handsome façade the runner’s frame the hard body that seduces me. Rather, it is the strength of your will the compassion in your soul the poetry that flows from your mind the desire for intimacy ~ how you’d love to spoon with me in sleep ~ and the love you have for your family. I feel family in your soul; how can I turn away? Yet, it is my place in this world to be strong, to be wise to walk away. how can you know how can you act upon the need in my eyes for someone to start listening to what I need ~ not what I say.
