Inspiration: Seeds of doubt sowed in unsaid words
Spilled its contents onto my heart,
It pricked, burnt, while the pain did last,
Yet, I made not the faintest sound.
Stained walls, discoloured my life,
No amount of scrubbing, made them shine again,
Rebellious thoughts did my mind refrain,
Because in those words, there was still comfort.
The hope existed, while wishes clung,
Someday, I'd hear you say it was not a lie,
Sometime, the answer would be received, without a 'why',
I trusted my words to change what I expected.
But in all the chaos of your silence,
Was I forgotten in the deep realms?
Was I trodden over, while overwhelmed?
Was I...even there?
