Alias's Wicked~Halloween
*What am I?
Fill a witch hat with a mix of Halloween "touchables." Let guests feel (but not peek at!) the items and write down as many as they think they can identify. Be sure to include such things as hard-boiled eggs, olives, and cooked or dry spaghetti.
...............................
*Fang Find:
Draw a life-size vampire (or purchase a paper decoration) on butcher paper. Tape it on a wall. Cut triangular pieces from white stickers. Blindfold each guest, one at a time. Give two "fangs" to each guest and have guests try to place the stickers on the vampire mouth.

*Guess How Many
Fill a jar with candy corn and have guests guess how many are in the jar. (Don't forget to count as you put them in the jar!) Place the jar near the door and hand each guest a 3x5 card to put their name, their guess and their favorite Halloween candy. Halfway through the party read them all off and announce the winner.
...............................
*Halloween Hunt
Using the same idea as an Easter Egg Hunt hide little bags of candy corn, or other fun candy around the back yard. Set the kids loose and let them find the candy. Be sure to keep back several extra in case someone does poorly. You can give them a few more!

*RING THE PUMPKIN
Line up three large pumpkins with stems, to form a ring toss.
Use embroidery hoops or make hoops with rope and duct tape. Mark a throwing line on the floor and take turns trying to ring a pumpkin stem. It doesn't matter if they get it or not, you can reward them with small prizes or stickers. Smaller children can attempt to ring an entire large pumpkin with a hula hoop.

*Straw Relay
(For older kids)
Divide into teams as you would in nay relay race. Each child get a straw (cut in half) and a M&M. They must suck the straw to keep the M&M in place, walk carefully to a bowl and drop it in.
The first to finish all players wins--No Hands and if you drop it
you must start again.

*Catch the Doughnut
Hang mini-doughnuts from the ceiling with string.
The object of the game is to be the first to eat the doughnut with out using your hands! Do not use powdered or cinnamon doughnuts. Plain is the safest!

*Muffin Ramp Game
You Need:
-muffin tin
-cardboard
-4" wide tape
- ping pong balls
or other small balls
Cut the cardboard to the width of the muffin tin. Beware of too thin cardboard that will tend to bend. Tape all along the edge to provide a smooth joint. Place small pieces of candy or toys in each muffin cup. Players take turns rolling balls up the ramp trying to get their ball in the hole to win the prizes.

*Bobbing for Donuts Game
You Need:
-string
-donuts with holes (powdered or plain work best)
Gently tie a string onto the donut . Hang the donut by the string. Players then take turns holding their hands behind their backs while trying to bite the hanging donut. Each player gets his or her own donut.
Add variety--try blindfolding players first.
...............................
*Pass The Pumpkin:
You need an orange and three or more people (the more people the more fun!). Make the people stand around in a circle. Someone start with the orange under their chin (It would be too hard to do this with a pumpkin unless it's a really tiny one). The object of the game is to pass the pumpkin from your chin to someone else's! If you drop it, you're out. As I said, the more people, the more fun.
...............................
*Tombstone Table
Take a sheet of paper and draw a tombstone shape on it. Photocopy that sheet. Then, put a collection of markers, pens, scary stamps (bats, ghosts, witches), glitter, fake insects, glue, grey and black and white paint and brushes. Let your guests make their own tombstones and write out their own epitaph. Use doublesided tape to put each tombstone up on a wall. Give prizes to the scariest, funniest, strangest tombstones!

*Pumpkin Toss
This is a mess, but teens really love this one! Go to a pumpkin patch or grocery store and negotiate to buy their discards - pumpkins that are old, or strange looking and therefore cheap. Buy 10 or more of pumpkins. Go outside (preferably on the lawn or in the driveway) and set up two empty trash cans. Mark off 5, 10, 15 and 20 feet away from the cans. Now, have a contest to see who can throw the pumpkin into the cans from the longest distance. Expect some clean up. They break!
