Meet the artistic talents behind this issue of Wicked karnival |
Drawing ever since he could hold a crayon, artist Tom Moran once aspired to becoming a comic book artist. Then, one day, a fateful trip to the elementary school psychologist made him realize his true calling as a horror illustrator. Unfortunately, he ignored the evidence and became a writer instead. On the occasions that his other personality lets him come out to play, Tom will still seize a pen or colored pencil and commit his tortured visions to paper. John Scalera Currently I'm living in NJ employed as Graphic Artist. I have always loved horror and scary films, fiction and whatever else seems to freak most other "normal" people out. I began creating horror/macabre digital artwork about a year ago. I find it's a great way to express the dark side which I believe resides in all of us to a degree. I sually don't have a blue print for any of the pieces, I start working and each one develops on it's own. http://www.johnscalera.com/ |
