These are the web tools particularly seen in every yahoo group, more commonly referred to as "group features" by people who run them. This page contains description of what each is and what we use it for.

Photos
where the pictures for every group are housed. Members can add photos to this area, and if allowed, delete or edit other photos shown (you cannot in trltrackerz, the only ones who can are staff persons)

Files
where the important documents are located for every group. These vary from group to group, and some may include them in a folder titled "Admin" (we do and so does Yahoo group of groups..we got that idea from them).


Members
the members list contains 4 lists of the people who have joined the group (Members), those who run it (Moderators), people who have been removed from group membership and are not allowed to rejoin it (Banned), and people whose email address has returned email to yahoo, making it impossible for them to receive any new group email until they reactivate the associated address (Bouncing). We don't use this area for anything because you can't really edit it.

Links
links to trltrackerz are supplied by you and are housed in our new directory, which holds sub-directories organized by topic. Your links are added to the subdirectories listed, not the main area. All links must be pre-approved by the staff of trltrackerz to appear in the links directory. You can gain approval by submitting your request to the daily review. We used to use it for randomly adding member supplied links, but I choose to be different from other groups and clean it up a bit, so that we appear more organized to people who have yet to join.


Calendar
the calendar houses group events in most groups. Ours holds both group events (anyone can add new) and member birthdays (year you were born optional).


Promote
this area gives you 2 options for a "button" for your website or group, which can be used by cut & paste the html code provided into your website editor or area where management edits the group. This area is available to anyone who wants to promote any group. Every group generally uses it for promotion purposes only, so we don't differ from that.


Invite
these forms help you invite people to join a group or if you are staff add people directly (some people may choose not to allow direct adds). the invite feature is available to everyone and anyone who wishes to add more people to the group or invite people to join who have not joined yet.


Messages
this feature is the message archives. It holds every message we've ever posted to the group, organized by month and year. we don't use it for anything other than the archives of previously posed material.


Home
this is the group homepage which holds the group description, name, email address information, related link, and group menu. The group menu holds features like (files, links, photos, etc) explained here. You can find an example here. You can edit this page but only with proper permissions (you have to run the group -either be moderator or group owner). If you scroll down the page, you'll notice the related link, group emails, etc.


Database
this area holds tables that either members or the staff who run the group create, and topics are based on what the group content is about. We edit and add to this area frequently with topics associated to trltrackerz.


Polls
this web feature allows you to vote in member created polls based on either the group topic in general or topics related to it. the html code for this page is editable but only if you know how to implement it into the group pages of this nature itself (I haven't figured this out yet).
