| IN THE BEGINNING... Pete started drawing and writing stories at a very young age, and by the time he was 11 years old, he was producing a weekly comic, KOMIC KAPERS WEEKLY, known affectionately as the KK, (see left) for his mates at Chapel End Secondary Modern School in Walthamstow. E17. Since then, he has gone on to write illustrated articles for magazines on The Environment, Horticulture and Social Justice, and writing childrens and adult books. | WHAT ARE NIKKI & PETE UP TO IN 2009? |
| NIKKI & PETE'S HAPPY HIPPY WEDDING |
| NIKKI & PETE WERE MARRIED ON GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 10th 2009 AT KNEBWORTH HOUSE, HERTFORDSHIRE, |

| Canadian songwriting team MIKE JAMES and RHETT DAVIS (see pictures left) had composed song, 'Your Eyes' especially for the occasion. This was played at the end of the wedding ceremony, and then again at the reception, as Nikki & Pete's first dance as a married couple. Guests included Nikki and Pete's family, as well as members of The MOTF, and friends from the World of Entertainment, including Ernie Almond, and an array of supporting actors, who you may have glimpsed on TV shows and adverts, as well as mainstream movies. Some of these have their own acts, like Ant Blues and Robert J Blues, who do a tribute act to The Blues Bros. Ant turned upin a Bluesmobile Police car, and was dressed as a US cop! | There were hippies galore, as well as Austin Powers with his dolly birds, Dr. Evil, Superman, Spiderman, Beauty and The Beast, Captain Jack Sparrow, and even Bambit turned up with his family in the form of The Knebworth herd of Red Deer! |

| Naturally, the 37-year age difference between the bride and groom got plenty of mention, firstly with the Father of The Bride saying he thought Pete was Nikki's boyfriend's grandad when he first met him, then Pete saying that Andy (Nikki's dad) hadn't lost a daughter, but gained an OAP, and then JC McKay of The Egg and Bacon band commented that Pete had toleave one of his gigs early, so that Nikki could catch up with her exam studies for school! |

| But it was all in good fun, and Pete's Daughters, Viv and Deb finsihed up as backing singers for the band. Pete was chuffed to see his oldmate and original 'Family' member Tramp (Terry Long, pictured left with the beard) and his cousins, which included fellow hippy Cindy, who 'freaked out' with him to Ray Cordell's 'Flipdisco' for the first time since The Sixties, at 'Middle Earth' night club! (Bottom right). The first highlight of the evening was the dancers from 'Dance For Fun' doing a special hippy dance for the happy couple (bottom left). Everyone agreed that it was a wedding to remember - even the staff at Knebworth, who were wonderful and professional. The food, the entertainment, and the guests made sure that everything was first class. The only problem was the weather, but that didn't dampen anyone's enthusiasm... |

| THE SAINTS IN PARADISE Help us promote Pete's tenth book! Pete's tenth book, THE SAINTS IN PARADISE, which tells the story of a Jazz/Rock band's adventures in Paradise, is due out in November. We are asking for anyone who can help record the title song, and maybe a few more, and to produce a promotional video for the book. |

| DISNEY PIXAR FOLLOW PETE'S LEAD IN RETURN TO CELL ANIMATION |

| AS YOU CAN READ BELOW, PETE IS MAKING A PROMOTIONAL VIDEO FOR HIS NEW BOOK 'THE SAINTS IN PARADISE'. Pete has decided to shun CGI animation in favour of old-fashioned cell animation, as he did with his pals Dell and Cy in the fifties, under the name of Filmart Studios. WELL! Lo and behold, Disney Pixar have made the same decision for their forthcoming animated feature (due out next year) THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, based on the fairytale, 'The Frog Prince' (see picture).
