ABSOLUTE ABSURDITY!
By Pete Perry
I first met Jack Walters (centre of picture) when I went for a casting call for The Absurds. I was cast as a 'crusty' at The Crust's Wags Show, and I knew then that I was doomed to become a part of this absurdly different production company!
Jack, together with Pius Mahogony, Geff Humus, and Randy Sage
were, in fact, right ahead, but left behind, The Beatles. Jack, under his stage name of Lentil, tells us how it all happened...
'In 1940, Liverpool was at war, London was at war, the world was at war, and Christine Lentil was at the shops. She was a very attractive woman and at the time was carrying more than just her shopping. It was a warm, but cold day. It might almost have been called a bright Summer day, apart from the fact it was pouring down with rain.  In between shopping and a hair cut, Jack was
born. First in Liverpool on October 1st and then again a week later, in London on October 8th'. Now these musical icons (or maybe simply 'cons') have at last released their eagerly-awaited album LET IT GO, and it falls to your truly to review it...
Tracks include
Girl Trouble, You and Love, If Only, I'll be Loving you, And I wanted to say, I've found love, To be completed and I could never. Each track is a gem of total absurdity, which sound uncannily like The Beatles, though of course, Jack will tell you that The Absurds got there first, so
I suppose
The Beatles sound uncannily like The Absurds!
Whatever, - if you like Absolute Absurdity, then you will like
The Absurds - absurd but true!
