Detailed Description

Physical- Wind-weathered so his skin is brown from the sun and weather and his face creased with character, H'un stands 5'9". H'un's eyes are a rich brown and his hair, once full rich brown now still brown but streak with grey and worn short.
He stands as straight as is possible for a man who survived Thread eating at his stomach. The scar tissue draws his body slightly forward so he always looks as if he is walking into a stiff wind. The little finger of his left hand is missing, a victum of Thread when it fell.

H'un wears loose tunics since anything tight causes the tissue on his belly to hurt. He likes greys and white colors in his clothing. On one wrist he wears a bracelet woven from the mane of a grey runner. On the other wrist is a similar bracelet woven from the mane of a white runner. The white bracelet has been broken in the past and patched to fit his wrist.

Emotional- A man who never questioned his loyalty before being faced with his disobedience to Weyrwoman Roseen. Before he thought he was doing right by taking it upon himself to gather tithes that he and other felt Roseen was neglecting. He regrets deeply his actions.

Brief History: H'un has served his entire life serving Weyrwoman Fammili, who had been a hard woman to work with. She kept her riders under her thumb and sent them to collect tithes without mercy. Jealous of other women she refused to allow other golds to the Weyr. Ironically her dragon's last egg was gold. The young gold's lifemate was treated with such disrespect by Fammili that the riders regarded Roseen as nothing but a fat stupid girl. But then Fammili thought all women but herself were worthless. H'un learned the hard way of Fammili's hate for other women. As a dashing young man he fell in love with, Jassel, the daughter of a breeder of runners. They swore love ever lasting and weaving
bracelets from their runner's manes. Fammili saw the love between the pair when H'un became a candidate. She sent Jassel off on a trip to deliver the very pair of runners the lovers had woven their bracelets from to a distant herder. Jassel was slain by robbers.
When her body was returned to Widow's Peak Weyr H'un cut the runner hair woven around Jassel's wrist and attached it to his own wrist. He hardened, became cynical. Until Roseen made him look at himself.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: Tends to go along with what others think and lets people influence his own opinion. Is intelligent and wants to be honorable, but had lost faith in honor under the previous Weyrwoman. When he realizes his has made a mistake he trys to never do it again.

Personality: Hates his companions dragon, but the feeling is mutual. Grumpy.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Steadfast and good with the young dragons. Likes to eat and has little interest in hunting, prefering the corraled beast to kill.
