Detailed Description

  Physical- Tall and willowy, Ph'alt looked as if he was all arms and legs when young.  Now he has filled out somewhat and, though still slim, matured into a tall lean man.  He has a number of score scars, mostly on his shoulders where they are out of sight.  His hair is light brown, which he keeps cropped short.  Eyes wary blue.  His face is long and goes well with his body.  Although he would not be call particularly handsome, women are attracted to him.  Ph'alt dresses in brown trousers with soft leather chaps.  His shirts are loose on his form and generally gray in color.  Over his shirts he wears a constant vest of dark leather.  It is worn and has seen many turns, but he will not go without his vest even to social events.  Boots are the one thing he will spend extra upon to have the best.  Although he does not wear fancy dress boots but the quality of his boots are the best that can be obtained and very functional.  He wears a boot knife also.

  Emotional- Emotionally Ph'alt is a mystery.  He seems quiet and generally sits back to observe what is going on around him.  Nobody can recall him losing his temper, and that makes one wonder if and when he ever blows up what will happen.  He seems to be waiting for something.  What, perhaps even he doesn't know.   He does not strive to bully others but quietly sorts thinks out for others to think about.  He often wonders why others make things so difficult and can't live in peace.



Brief History: Born at Crom Hold on the northern continent Ph'alt knows what it is to work hard and long.  From his earliest years it seemed that his family struggled to make ends meet.  To just make it through the day.  When a search dragon found the 22 turns Philalt pushing a cart of coal out of the mines, Philalt looked at his struggling family and reasoned he could serve them well as a rider. 

The hustle and bustle of the Weyr was a completely new experience for the young miner.  He withdrew and observed, learned as he had never had the chance to learn at the Hold.  At turn passed before a wet, wobbly bronze Rapoth fell on Ph'alt.  The love shared between dragon and rider was intense.  Ph'alt knew he was loved!  The now going on 24 turns man stayed true to his promise to do things for his family.  Whatever he earned was mostly sent home.  Once he was a full rider it was easy to slip quietly away and bring food, clothing and the little extras that were so appreciated by his family to them.  He had balked at the thought of transfering to Widow's Peak Weyr.  The Weyr was not supported by Holds but by small cotters.  Thoughts of his family made him to at first reject the idea of a transfer.  But then he over heard talk about taking over the Weyr.  His sense of honor would not let him ignore such talk.  So it was that he found himself circling the small Weyr about to land.



Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: An able negotiator, but has trouble seeing the reasoning behind greed and bullying.  Soft spoken.

Description: A Blue Cranky's color is bluing almost to green.  Large for a Blue flit.  Edges of his wing are almost green, while the wings themselves are blue. 
Personality:  Lazy, irritable when disturbed from his perch.  Loves petting when he wants it but will often not feel like being touched.  Loud when hungry.

Dragon color: Bronze.  A very light bronze, almost tan in appearance at first glance.
Age: 7 Turns

Adult Size: Large

Description: A pale bronze that resembles tan in color.  Large wing span.  Powerful in flight. 

Personality: Laid back generally but, unlike his rider, prone to temper when aggravated.  Has been know to bite.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Strong flyer.  Temper during mating flights.
