| When I was born back in the fifties, Alkhobar was a tiny coastal town with only one small commercial street (King Khalid street) and a few houses here and there and this huge sand dune close by we went to play on...This sand dune now is King Abdul Aziz street, the main Avenue of Alkhobar.....and there are malls and highways everywhere!! |

| This was the corniche for Northern Alkhobar but after seadumping to develop the new corniche it is no longer overlooking the coast directly,it's a shopping and dining street!! |
