The Writer's Group Mission Statement The Women In Film Writer's Group is a supportive multi-tiered project. The main group meets every other month to gain insight and knowledge from an industry guest. We look for guests who share their personal journey, writing process, and insight. Most of our Writer’s head home after a meeting ready to dive back into their own projects with a new point of view and are able to tackle their problems.  The other part of the Writer's Group is in a Workshop format. We have two groups running so far to support writers in different areas, The Valley Writer's Workshop and the New Westside Writer’s Workshop. These off shoots are comprised of small core groups of dedicated writers who sign up to have ten or so pages read out loud. Each participant reads a part so the Writer can hear their work out loud and receive positive feedback. Thw Writer's Group Meets every other month. Stephen has four projects in the works, including The Grudge 2. No homework has been assigned to this session.
