Rescued Rabbits
We have 7 rabbits all rescued by the RSPCA which we have given homes to, so far they have managed to destroy several bushes and climbers and descimated the grass. We will be replacing the grass and restricting the rabbits to certain areas at a time, rather like a farmer rotating his crops. None of the rabbits have names as yet, we are open to suggestions. They are great to watch and they do help to keep the dogs occupied.
All of the rabbits have been "doctored" so no chance of youngsters.
These two are a white female and a Lilac male
This is our youngest female she joined us last week
These two are a Lilac male and a Black male
A second white female, we think that the two white females are sisters
This is a "silver" male
Just a couple more shots of them
We have now put down turf for the rabbits, the difference in the colours of the grass is because some rolls are older than others, we are just hoping that the rabbits give the grass a chance to grow. We have just another section to do behind the green house. The pile of soil at one end is where they can and do burrow, it will be made larger in time. As you can see in a couple of the photos they do keep the dogs occupied.
