Free Todd Bertuzzi | ||||||||||
Todd Bertuzzi, a forward for the Vancouver Canucks recently punch Steve Moore in the back of the head during a hockey game. Moore fell to the ice and broke his neck. Now the NHL and Vancouver police are investigating the hit and what should be done with Bertuzzi. I think nothing should be done for the following reasons: 1. Vancouver was my team in NHL 99 and Bertuzzi scored a lot of goals for me. He was there for me in all my epic battles with Regan and his Edmonton Oilers. I can't leave Todd now in his time of need. 2. A big deal is being made of this because Bertuzzi punched Moore from behind when he wasn't looking. Well, I can't fault him for that. Just yesterday I was waiting in line for the bus home from St. Johns. The bus took 25 minutes and a sunstantial line had formed behind me ( I was the second person there). The bus showed up when this skinny wiener of a kid with dress shoes on and boot cut jeans did a quick turn and cut in front of me. The bus was kinda full so a seat on the bus was in jeopordy. Right at that moment I wanted to slam that kids into the side of the bus. I'm pretty sure this shit head had pulled this one before. And if I had drilled that kid in the back of the head I bet he would never have cut the bus line again. My point is frustration can build up and hitting someone in the back of the head shouldn't be so outrageous, especially on a hockey rink. 3. He's Italian and he plays hockey instead of being in the mafia and doing some real crime. Leave the guy alone, he could have become a wise guy that pushed drugs and whacked guys. He could have turned out alot worse. I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt for being so law abiding for so long. In conclusion I think that everyone should just get off my man Bertuzzi. |
