| Heat fells Yellow Wiggle
December 20, 2003 YELLOW Wiggle Greg Page collapsed from heat exhaustion during the group's Christmas shows at the Sydney Entertainment Centre yesterday. Page started feeling sick in the second half of their second show and was treated by ambulance officers. A spokeswoman for the skivvy-clad entertainers said Page returned for the third show yesterday and would be well enough to perform at all Wiggles concerts this weekend. "He's all right. They have just done so many shows this year and it was incredibly hot and he suddenly felt ill," the spokeswoman said. "Sam the Dancer filled in for him for the rest of the second show but Greg felt well enough to return to the stage for the third show." Five hundred tickets are available for the each of the five shows at the Entertainment Centre today and tomorrow. The Daily Telegraph |
