Tuesday, 23 July 2002 Presenter: Richard Glover They started out playing for a couple of hundred dollars or so at community kindergartens and the like but 11 years later The Wiggles are now earning $14 million per year, according to BRW magazine, which places them at number six on their best paid entertainers list. They now have a new film staring The Crocodile Hunter and dropped by to entertain Richard Glover and 20 or so children in the 702 studios. The Wiggles Song Challenge Richard challenged Jeff, Anthony, Murray and Greg to make up a song on the spot using words suggested by the children - "cheese pasta", "touching your toes" and "yellow". The second one used the words - "potato salad", "jumping around and jumping around too" and "purple". You can hear the results by clicking on the Audio link below. The Beige Wiggle Keen to share in the $14 million, Richard took off his jacket revealing a beige skivvy and did a German version of Hot Potato! The children agreed there should in fact be five wiggles - the fifth one being Richard the Beige Wiggle!
