ANTHONY WIGGLE joined AOL Live to chat with his fans about the Wiggly Safari CD and The Wiggles' upcoming TV series.

Live Host: Hi Anthony :) Thanks for coming to chat with us today.
Anthony: Hello everybody! Happy wiggling! :)

Question: Are you planning to make a new cartoon series?
Anthony: No, but we've just finished making a TV series for the ABC in Australia. It's premiering in Australia 5 days a week at 8am :)

Question: The last time you guys had a chat with us on here, I asked how long do you plan to stay in the Wiggles for, and you said for as many more years as I can. Is that still true?
Anthony: Yes, it's been great fun and we all get on very well. Sure it gets a bit cramped in the big red car, but we love it!

Question: What did you want to be when you were a kid?
Anthony: I wanted to be a school teacher or a policeman or in the army.

Question: Are you going to be doing any more shows at Australia Zoo?
Anthony: No, the Wiggly Safari video that we shot at the Australia Zoo with Steve Irwin is coming out in June. We might be doing a show there for Steve's daughter Bindy's birthday.

Question: Hi Anthony. How did it feel to be Bachelor of the Year a few years ago?
Anthony: It was very embarrassing, LOL. Luckily we were on tour in the US at the time, so I didn't have to worry about it too much.

Question: Hi Anthony, this is Lisa from Minnesota. We saw you in Des Moines, IA. My two kids Cara and Austin would like to know how the puppies are doing?
Anthony: They're great! They've all gone to wonderful owners, including Leanne Ashley who's our choreographer.

Question: What is your favourite Wiggles song?
Anthony: That would have to be Toot Toot Chugga Chugga Big Red Car. I like singing about the big red car and it's a really snappy tune :)

Question: Do any of you get a bit bossy at times?
Anthony: No, LOL, everyone's got a sense of humour so if anyone did they others would tell them to stop being bossy!

Question: Baylee's mommy would like to know, how Pepe is doing with Patrick?
Anthony: Pepe is a little Dachsund and Patrick is my brother. They really love each other! They walk the hills of Kellyville together :)

Question: Are you going to be doing the usual Christmas show in Brisbane again this year?
Anthony: We're going to be doing the Wiggly Safari Big Show over Christmas - featuring a lot of the songs we did with Steve Irwin.

Question: Who drives the big red car when you tour?
Anthony: Greg - he always drives the big red car. He's a very reliable driver :)

Question: Hi Anthony, My name is Declan and I would like to tell you a joke:
Knock Knock. Who's there? Boo. Boo who? Oh Anthony you don't have to cry!
Did you like my joke?
Anthony: LOL, I love that joke :)

Question: What happened to the fifth Wiggle?
Anthony: We did one concert together and he was on our very first album, but he left to do other things - he's more into classical music.

Question: Is Steve really that hyper in real life?
Anthony: He is! He's fantastic; he's just exactly like he is on TV :)

Question: How long have you been a Wiggle?
Anthony: 11 years now. That's lots of times we've sung Hot Potato!

Question: My cousin is a big fan of yours. He wants to know which fruit in the fruit salad you like the best?
Anthony: I love pineapple the best. When pineapple's good it's great :)

Question: Hi Anthony! I went to the Australia Zoo launch of Wiggly Safari. Thank you for stopping and taking the time to have a photo with me! It was my 4th birthday so it was very special!
Anthony: It's always great to meet friends of ours on their birthdays. It's fun :) I hope you had a happy birthday.

Question: Any chance of seeing Steve in your Safari concerts?
Anthony: I think there'd be more chance of Terry, his wife, coming along. Steve loved doing the video but, believe it or not, he's very shy in public..

Question: Lisa from Minnesota: Us boardies want to let you know we appreciate all the hard work Pasqua put into getting the message board up and running. Please give her a big wiggly woof woof hug.
Anthony: Will do! I'd love to get back on the board, but I can't figure out how to post a message with the security things on there! LOL.

Question: Do you have a lot of older fans?
Anthony: I'm not sure. I suppose a lot of parents and friends have to listen to the Wiggles, so they do listen to the music and enjoy it.

Question: Anthony; were you the one who started the Wiggles?
Anthony: Well it was my idea to put them together, but I don't think about it like that. It's evolved with everyone having so much input, that I don't feel like that :)

Question: What is it like to perform to toddlers? Does it take pressure off you more than if you were to perform in front of a mature audience?
Anthony: We treat our toddler audience just the same as an adult one. There's still the same pressure to really put on a good show. It's probably more fun though, because the kids are so open.

Question: Jaiden would like to know if you are coming back to Brisbane soon?
Anthony: I'm not sure when we'll be back in Brissie. We could be at the Australian Zoo for a show, maybe.

Question:
What happened to the cockroaches?
Anthony: The Cockroaches still play sometimes around Sydney, but Jeff and myself don't have much time to play with them any more :)

Question: How many different countries have you been to?
Anthony: With the Wiggles, maybe six. But I've been to lots of countries travelling by myself, too :)

Question: Why did you choose the colour blue?
Anthony: I honestly love blue. I think it's a great colour!

Question: Anthony, is it true you're a Tigers supporter? Go the mighty Panthers!
Anthony: Absolutely! I went to Penrith and saw the Tigers win, actually.

Question: Do you enjoy being part of the Wiggles?
Anthony: I love it! It's a great job. It's been so much fun and we've met so many great people that I'd hate to do anything else.

Question: Is the movie out yet or when is it going to be out?
Anthony: The Wiggly Safari video will be out in late July.

Question: We will be attending concerts in 4 different cities in the summer. Will the show be the same as your southern US tour this past spring? (Lisa from Minnesota.)
Anthony: It'll be very similar, but the tour after the next one we'll be taking our big Wiggly Safari show over :)

Question: How's Dorothy?
Anthony: Dorothy's great. She's just had some roses and she's sleeping at the moment.

Question: When I did a school presentation we sang Big Red Car, and some boys dressed up as the Wiggles and made a big red car. How does it feel to have other kids inspired by the Wiggles?
Anthony: It's a really nice feeling. Thank you for doing that :)

Question: Hello Anthony. We are Amanda and Alexander from Sacramento. We love the Wiggles. Did you get the birthday card we sent you? It had pics and poems in it.
Anthony: Yes, thank you very much. I got lots of birthday cards and it made me feel really special :)

Question: Hi Anthony, I'm David and I'm 8. Is Jeff really sleepy, or is that just a trick?
Anthony: No, he seriously does get sleepy, that's not a trick!

Question: What's the best thing about being a Wiggle?
Anthony: Creating music and meeting people, doing shows... the whole thing's just really fun :)

Question: Will the safari video be as good as the one with Wally in it? We love Wally!
Anthony: I think so :) Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, is just as exciting as Wally!

Question: Where can we send Wiggles fan mail? From Nichole.
Anthony: To the Wiggles office: PO Box 768, Rozelle NSW 2039, Australia. Or you can email us from the website: www.thewiggles.com :)

Question: Do people notice you on the street?
Anthony: Occasionally, but because we don't wear our skivvies all the time not so much.
When it does happen it's usually really nice because people are happy to see us :)

Question: In the safari video, does Steve catch a crocodile?
Anthony: No, it's not like that! We sing a song to the crocodiles and Steve dances with one. It's a fun video about music and animals - you'll have to see it to believe it!

Question: What is your next project now that you are done with Wiggly Safari?
Anthony: Well we've just made 42 episodes of TV shows! Making those was brilliant :) We head off to the States next week.

Live Host: We're out of time. Thanks for joining us at AOL Live today Anthony :)
Anthony: Good night everyone. Thanks for coming, and happy wiggling. We'll chat with you again when we get back from the US in July :)
