The Wiggles children's entertainers
4 July 2001 Anthony Field started work as a checkout guy in Woolworths, Baulkham Hills. His first pay packet was about $50. Today, Anthony is one of the four members that make up the band The Wiggles. The Wiggles are children's entertainers. The kids love them as well as parents and their teachers. They encourage social behaviour in young children. The Wiggles have created a catalogue of music, television, video and film, and are approaching their 10th anniversary. They have always been a touring band, keeping in constant contact with their public. They are an Australian success story, cutting across all demographics and which has begun to spread worldwide. Back when Anthony was working at Woolworths, he spent his first pay packet on sea monkeys and a whole lot of Bazooka bubble gum. These days, he can't resist buying computer software. Anthony claims that the best bit of financial advice was given to him from none other than Paul Clitheroe at the Grand Prix, which was "save little and save often".
